The task at hand with the Morris kitchen addition was to create a space where the homeowners could stay indoors yet be surrounded by the idyllic beauty of their property. Large Kolbe & Kolbe windows maximize the natural light available to the workspace and eating area while providing breathtaking views of the grounds.
Opaque Hagerstown cabinets with a brown glaze keep the home's country credentials intact while the Crema Bordeaux granite adds a splash of color. The low ceilings of the original kitchen area are mitigated by the ten foot height of the new area, allowing a feel similar to the tall ceilings common in new construction.
