A full-service remodeling professional should always:

• Offer to provide design service and drawings for a fee
• Give you a detailed estimate in a timely fashion
• Demand to prepare and submit permit applications
  themselves
• Provide a detailed proposal and contract
• Provide certificates of insurance directly from their insurer
• Give you an accurate start date and construction schedule

A full-service remodeling professional should never:

• Ask for more than a 20% deposit to sign a contract
• Ask that you hire subcontractors directly
• Ask that you provide services or materials integral to the
  project
• Ask that you procure permits for the project

Everyone knows of a "Remodeling Horror Story".. Sadly, many of the horror stories were
avoidable if the customer had taken the time to fully evaluate the contractor's ability and integrity.

We're sure you will have a great experience with Armstrong Interiors, but don't take our word for it. Talk to our past customers, talk to our current customers. Our total client list is always available; we will never "cherry pick" our four or five best references.

Know what to ask when you speak to a past customer. Did we start on time? Did we keep their home as clean and safe as possible? Was it fun? (Yes it can be fun!)

Don't focus on just the positive aspects, either. Ask if there were complications or unforeseen events. Find out how we handled these. Were we forthcoming with information? How far did we go to make the customer happy with the finished product?

Ask for a customer or two whose projects were completed several years ago. Ask them how we responded to warranty issues. Did we come out right away? Did we try to fix the problem or hide behind time limits or legal verbiage?

Talk to our customers before making a choice of Contractor. You may find that your decision is
already made.
